Account info (email, display name), profile preferences (your BudPrint quiz answers, mood and effect preferences), and content you create (journal entries, saved strains). We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.
To personalize recommendations, deliver core app features, and improve quality. We do not sell your personal data.
When you use AI-powered features (BudBuddy chat, mood matching), the relevant prompts and preferences are sent to AI model providers solely to generate your response. They are not used to train third-party models.
Data is stored on our secure cloud backend with row-level access controls. Only you can read or modify your own account data.
You may export or delete your account data at any time by contacting support@budbuddy.app. We will respond within 30 days.
We use local storage to remember your age confirmation and session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
BudBuddy is strictly for adults 21+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
